Houston Guided Pathways to Success (GPS) has grown to 13 institutions representing nearly 300,000 students in the Texas Gulf Coast Region. Since the consortium was formed in 2013, our collaborative efforts have resulted in consistent progress in key metrics that drive graduation rates and efficiency, speeding the time to completion and lowering cost to students.
The following performance metrics are only for the following seven initial partner institutions: University of Houston, University of Houston-Clear Lake, University of Houston-Downtown, Houston Community College, Lone Star College, San Jacinto College, and Wharton County Junior College.

FTIC (First Time In College) one-year retention rates have risen to 68.7%
Transfer student one-year persistence has risen to 62.5%
FTIC students completing 30 semester credit hours has more than doubled, to 29.0%
FTIC students graduating within two years have more than tripled to 12.5%
FTIC students graduating within three years have more than doubled to 22.1%
Transfer students graduating within three years has increased to 22.2%
FTIC students graduating within four years have risen to 37.9%
FTIC students graduating within six years have risen to 57.7%
